Giorgio Trucco

Born in San Vittore Olona (MI) in 1950, residing in Barzago (LC). Having in his family painters such as his grandfather Pietro Dimi and his father Oreste, he has since demonstrated his artistic skills. He began his studies at the Liceo Artistico di Brera (Milan), but abandoned it to devote himself to photography. He attended the Milan School of Humanity and became a professional photographer. Through photophotography, with the help of technology, from a photographic image or several photographic images, Giorgio Trucco creates a pictorial image. Even in some works, he usually paints over the image, changing the way he transforms the photo as if he were painting a picture. He has participated in numerous exhibitions of painting and photography, obtaining numerous awards and recommendations, and precisely: in 1965 - Second place in the Scout Award 'Olivo d'Oro' PINTURA NATIONAL, in 2010 second prize of the jury at the LAGO d'Arte exhibition. In 1972 and 1974 he participated with artists from Legnano in exhibitions in Frankental (Germany) and Legnanh (MI). He exhibits in various cities in northern Italy, including Buscate, Porto Ceresio, San Vittore Olona,​​ Galbiate, Bunch of Rho and Legnano. In 2016 he exhibited in Rome, Milan, Bergamo, Florence, Syracuse, Lucca, Trieste and Mexico City. In 2018 he exhibited at the Abbey of Chiaravalle (MI). In 2019-2020 collective exhibitions organized by Dr. Giorgio Grasso in Venice, Milan and Parma. Giorgio Trucco, using technological means, examines and revisits reality according to his own mood.
